Max Homa won The Genesis Invitational Sunday in a dramatic sudden-death playoff at The Riviera Country Club to bring the tournament trophy home to Los Angeles. Homa, who grew up in Los Angeles County, earned the victory after a long day of golf on Sunday.

Angus Flanagan earns final exemption into 2021 Genesis Invitational
University of Minnesota senior Angus Flanagan won The Genesis Invitational’s seventh-annual Collegiate Showcase with a 15-foot birdie putt on the third sudden-death playoff hole (No. 3, Par-4, 434 yards) to earn the final exemption into the 2021 tournament.
2021 Player Field
The majority of the player field for The Genesis Invitational was confirmed today. The 95th edition of the tournament will be held Feb. 15-21 at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

Adam Scott Officially Wins at Riviera
Adam Scott is the 2020 Genesis Invitational champion. The win is Scott’s 14th career PGA TOUR victory and moves him to Number 6 in the Official World Golf Ranking. An unofficial winner at Riviera during a shortened tournament in 2005, Scott made it official this year with a two-shot victory over a field that featured nine of the top 10 players in the world.
Welcome to The Genesis Invitational
What a special year to be back at Riviera. I remember when I was a young boy and use to attend the tournament with my dad. It’s so exciting to now play in and host The Genesis Invitational. This is the first year the tournament has had elevated status as an invitational, joining the likes of Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer’s events.

The 2020 Celebrity Cup powered by CDW was won by Team Woods today at The Riviera Country Club. Team Woods, captained by Genesis Invitational host and 82-time PGA TOUR winner Tiger Woods, defeated Team Watson, captained by three-time Genesis Invitational winner Bubba Watson, to win the cup by a score of 12-9.
