THE FIELD

The Genesis Invitational annually attracts one of the strongest fields in golf and this year will be no different. As the February 13^th commitment deadline nears, many of the world’s top players have already secured an invitation to compete at The Riviera Country Club.

As a player-hosted Signature Event on the PGA TOUR, players earn their invites through the following set of eligibility categories:

1. Top 50 players in the prior season’s FedExCup points list (listed below)
2. Players who finished nos. 51-60 on the prior season’s final FedExCup Fall points list (listed below)
3. Swing 5: Top five FedExCup points earners from the Sony Open through the WM Phoenix Open
4. Current-year tournament winners
5. Leading finisher from the Race to Dubai not otherwise exempt (listed below)
6. PGA TOUR members in the top-30 of OWGR on Monday February 16^th
7. Special Invitational: in addition to the four (4) tournament invitations, The Genesis Invitational also will award the annual Charlie Sifford Memorial Exemption to a deserving recipient who represents the advancement of diversity in our sport. (listed below)
