2020 marks a new era for PGA TOUR golf in Los Angeles. A tradition rich with over 90 years of history, a new chapter will be written in the next decade and beyond. Beginning in February 2020, you’re invited to experience golf elevated at Riviera for The Genesis Invitational.

A slimmed down field will be a new feature of The Genesis Invitational. With 120 of golf’s greats competing at Riviera, the quest of winning at one of golf’s most iconic clubs has become more difficult. For years, Riviera has featured one of the strongest fields in golf, boasting champions who only need one name: Hogan, Snead, Palmer, Watson, Freddy, Phil, Bubba and DJ. Among the players looking to add their name to the impressive list of champions are host Tiger and current stars Rory, JT, Jordan, Bryson, Xander and more.

LEGACY ELEVATED
LA’s PGA TOUR event is hosted by a legend in every sense of the word. Tiger Woods changed the game ever since he first competed at Riviera as an amateur in 1992. As tournament host of The Genesis Invitational, Woods joins Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus as legends to host annual events on the PGA TOUR calendar. This elevated status for The Genesis Invitational is in part because of Woods’ accomplishments on the course. But his legacy endures off the course as well. Through award-winning STEM curricula, college-access programs, and educator professional development, Woods’ TGR Foundation has provided resources and support for over one million underrepresented students to thrive in school and beyond.
