Genesis and TGR Foundation Advance Access to STEAM Education
In continuation of educational programming through its partnership with TGR Foundation, Genesis recently supported a hands-on career-connected learning experience at the TGR Learning Lab Anaheim to advance access to science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) education for local high school students.

Students from Savanna, Loara and Katella high schools participated in a workshop facilitated by Genesis where they stepped into the world of automotive innovation. Connecting classroom learning to real-world applications, students explored the Genesis product planning process, built concept vehicles using upcycled materials and engaged in a vehicle demonstration of two Genesis GV60 electric vehicles.

The experience continued with a career panel featuring Genesis professionals — Aaron Concha (model line engineer, quality service engineering), Tony Chen (exterior design manager, Genesis Design California), Mikayla Kosmala (manager, quality data analytics, quality service engineering) and Chris Gomez (senior manager, Genesis product planning). Panelists shared personal experiences and advice to provide students with insight into STEAM career pathways, as well as guide them through their academic and professional journeys.
Genesis continues to make an impact beyond the golf course by driving meaningful change through the power of education. As the title sponsor of The Genesis Invitational and a proud partner of TGR Foundation, Genesis is committed to advancing access to STEAM education for students in Southern California and beyond. Its support helps fuel TGR Foundation’s mission to empower students to pursue their passion in education by creating opportunities that lead to brighter futures both in the classroom and in the community.
